Confessions of a Teenage Leper is a novel about Abby, a girl that has everything. Perfect looks, perfect future, not-so-perfect brother, a spot in the cheerleading squad. Until Abby notices angry red patches forming on her skin. And her feet go numb. And she is losing her strength…

Confessions of a Teenage Leper explores what it’s like for a teenager to be diagnosed with a crippling, life-long, and ultimately disfiguring illness. Abby must decide what is more important: beauty on the outside, or the beauty within? Although not very well-written, the novel will appeal to teens with its unexpected plot twists.
